Rahu (North Node, राहु) is one of the nine grahas of Vedic astrology. It signifies obsession, foreign, illusion, technology, sudden rise, taboo. It rules the nakshatras Ardra, Swati and Shatabhisha, is exalted in Vrishabha and debilitated in Vrishchika, and its Vimshottari dasha lasts 18 years.
