An empty 7th house, and what it says about your partner

An empty 7th house means no planet was sitting in that part of the sky when you were born. It is the most ordinary thing in a kundli. There are nine planets and twelve houses, so in almost every chart most houses are empty, and an empty 7th house says nothing at all about whether you will marry or whether the marriage will be happy.

When the 7th house is empty, it is read through three other things: the planet that rules the sign on it, the general marriage indicator, and whatever aspects the house from elsewhere. That is the method. Nothing is missing.

Why an empty house is not a silent house

Think of the house as a room and the ruling planet as the person who holds the key. If nobody is standing in the room at the moment the photograph was taken, you learn about the room by finding the keyholder and seeing where they are and what condition they are in.
