The 10th house (Karma bhava, कर्म) is one of the twelve bhavas of a Vedic birth chart. Known as the House of Action, it signifies career, status, authority, public standing, action in the world. It is a kendra and an upachaya house, and its karakas are Surya, Budha, Guru and Shani.
